Lock the car, step away to call, and let nobody touch it until the club confirms by phone.
Do not trust a claim that your club will pay.
If you must use an unknown operator, agree the company, destination and total price first.
Ask for a detailed invoice and pay only under protest.
If pressured or threatened, call 112 or the police; photograph car and plate only if safe.
Keep invoice, proof of payment and papers: only you, as the victim, can file a fraud report.
